I was thinking of doing something like that, but I never really got the chance. I was so busy configuring the forum and setting it up. :)

Eh, updated with a Christmas banner. Skipped new years, prepping for 5th anniversary instead.

This is one of the most looked past part of your web site but it plays a very significant role as it sets the mood of your web page. Staying current will give the idea that your web page is always updated which would translate to more frequent visits as they will be able to see something new from time to time. You do not have to change the logo though but a simple change in colors or additional graphics would do.

I change my logo every holiday. A santa hat for christmas, a turkey next to the logo for thanksgiving, a st.patricks hat for st.patricks day and easter eggs next to the logo for easter.

Have never done it in 10 years since I'm running sites. It can be a cute feature, but I'd rather not waste time with this anyway.
