IPB licenses can now be transfered for $20 per license transfer. Before this change if you sold an IPB license you had to sell your whole account. If you had more than one license then this didn't work for you if you opnly wanted to sell one of them.

That has all changed. You can transfer each license and each app. If you transfer a license and have apps tied to it you have to remove the association or you'll transfer the apps too.

This is something that was long overdue and will make it much easier for people to sell those extra IPB licenses.

Keep in mind the license has to be at least 6 months old, before it can be transferred.

Which is a good safeguard for both IPS and the buyer.

Quite. Should help prevent a lot of fraudulent transfers. :)

Regarding transfers, would it be like purchasing the licenses fresh from IPB/IPS for the buyer, meaning that if any of my licenses is expired that wouldn't transfer over to the new owner?

Sorry for bumping this thread, I didn't want to create a new thread to ask this question.

:Edit: Ok, I found out the license has to be active prior to transfer. All but one of my licenses has two months before needing to be renewed, does that transfer over as well or does the buyer get a fresh start?

The license renewal length will transfer also. So if you have 2 months left the new owner will also have 2 months left.
