Thanks for the input guys. I just came online to 200+ unread posts - it looks like all of those posts were made in this thread. :giggle:

Apparently it's completely controllable by CSS so I should be able to easily change the width to 100%; it does bug me that it has those margins.
Best Regards,
Nick

xD  I thinks it's fun. Specially when chatting with some people. ;D To be honest, I thought of the 'wouldn't it distract from the actual forum' yesterday when I first saw it.

On another note, I am so glad I wasn't the only one to not notice it.

In my opinion its quite annoying.. I thought it was some addon for firefox that my brother installed and I uninstalled all my plugins to find out what it was.. Didnt realize it was part of the site. Anywho i am with Shelley on this, its quite annoying with it there thanks for adding option to remove it :D

The option to hide it does work, however the space from where it was is still at the bottom of the forum so it's pretty much the same when you are scrolled all the way down.

Wow, using it now and chattin' with Tom :D

Couple of things that would just make it perfect....

1. That 'slash' deal bug has to be fixed (read that it will be in next release)
2. Sound when a new incoming message appears (that's being worked on as well)
3. Smileys to show in chat box (read that it was noted, but not sure if that'll be included in the next version)

....this mod is going to be fantastic! :D

It looks like a pretty cool feature for those people that want to stay out of the public chat rooms.

You need to actually "befriend" the person before they will appear to be online. That can be done by clicking the befriend link on their vBulletin profile.
